Combed Spinning Yarn
Wool 's combed spinning puts the fibres through a series of preparation and combing steps until a ribbon called ‘top’ is obtained, where the fibres are highly parallelised with each other and purified from short fibres that would preclude the regularity of the yarn. This spinning system is also a ring spinning system and is mainly used for spinning wool and its blends.
